Longford Caravan Park, 24 kms from Launceston, was recommended to us so many times we decided to have a look and decided to stay for a week. They really look after their lawns here and there is soft green clover underfoot everywhere you look.
Do check out the local butcher Swifts meats, it's a one off experience and you'll want to stock up. They also have a very good bakery with a very tempting assortment of cakes and pastries.
