This rainforest creek wends through the beautiful tropical rainforest thicket at the foothills of the Redlynch Mountain on the outskirts of Cairns.

Captain Cook's View?

The seaside township of 1770, so named because of Cook's visit, his second landing in Australia, is a stunning landscape with a great diversity of natural vegetation. 
It is easy to imagine that it has changed little in the time since Cook visited and a great effort is made to preserve the natural environment.
